Job Description

DATAMARK, Inc. is seeking a qualified Burmese Interpreter to join our dedicated team. The Burmese Interpreter is essential for facilitating clear and effective communication between clients and service providers. The Burmese Interpreter by accurately interpreting spoken Burmese and English will assist clients. Our commitment to providing exceptional service means that your expertise as a Burmese Interpreter will play a vital role in bridging language gaps in various environments. The Burmese Interpreter will provide accurate and timely interpretation services between Burmese and English in real-time, ensuring clarity and understanding across all parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere strictly to ethical standards while interpreting sensitive information.
  • Exhibit cultural sensitivity and adaptability in interpretation to respect the needs of clients and the context of the conversations.
  • Stay informed about relevant terminology and concepts within various fields to enhance interpretation quality.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve service delivery and share insights on best practices.
  • Engage in professional development and training opportunities to keep skills current and effective.

Requirements

  • Fluency in both Burmese and English, with strong verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Previous experience in interpretation or a similar field is preferred.
  • Strong active listening and comprehension skills to convey messages accurately.
  • Cultural competence and understanding of the Burmese-speaking community.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations, ensuring quality interpretation.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Benefits

Working days: 5 days (2 rotational week off)

Job Type Full-time (Work from Home)

Salary up to: 7.87 LPA

Other allowance: Overtime pay, Mediclaim (Covers the Employee, Parents, Spouse & 2 kids from the first day of employment) & other Incentives based on performance.

For Foreign National OCI card is mandatory.
