What You'll Do:
ODH is seeking an experienced, mission-driven leader to serve as the Bureau Chief. This critical leadership role oversees managers and staff responsible for statewide and local emergency preparedness, planning, and response activities.
As a key member of the agency's leadership team, The Bureau Chief will collaborate with fellow bureau chiefs and executive leadership to advance the agency's mission of promoting and protecting the health and well-being of all Ohioans.

6 yrs. exp. in planning & administering health program(s).

Completion of graduate core program in field of public health, health administration, preventive medicine, social work, nursing or other health-related field or public policy & management/public administration or business administration; AND 3 yrs. exp. in planning & administering health program(s).

Unless required by legislation, the selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 16, Step 1 of the Exempt Pay Range Schedule ($48.93 per hour), with an opportunity for pay increase after six months ($51.65) of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
