Job Description

Summary:

The Bulk Warehouse Operator is responsible for the storage and distribution of parts from our bulk

parts warehouse. Reporting to the Corporate Warehouse Manager and working closely with the

Inventory Control Manager and Carencro Parts Manager, he/she will receive, organize, store,

maintain, and distribute bulk parts for our dealer network. The Bulk Warehouse Operator is also

responsible for maintaining the route truck distribution system, to include bulk part distribution, as

well as managing the relay of non-bulk parts between other locations. He/she prepares shipments

and communicates logistical challenges to network Parts Managers, customers, transportation

providers, and suppliers. In addition, the Branch Warehouse Operator is responsible for conducting

daily cycle counts to ensure bulk warehouse inventory accuracy.

Essential Duties:

• Carry out the bulk parts inventory process
• Loading / unloading freight
• Receive parts inventory into business operating system
• Properly organize, store, locate, and maintain bulk parts inventory
• Properly distribute bulk parts inventory to dealer network
• Conduct regular cycle counts of the bulk parts warehouse to maintain inventory accuracy
• Work with the Corporate Warehouse Manager to conduct 5S warehouse audits
• Conduct centralized route truck distribution activities
• Prepare shipments for network transfer daily
• Properly relay non-bulk shipments (store to store) between network routes daily
• Ensure route readiness each afternoon in preparation for next day distribution
• Assist in maintaining route trucks and warehouse equipment
• Work with transportation providers and suppliers to schedule bulk inventory deliveries
• Assist in addressing issues with the supply and delivery of parts inventory and finding
• appropriate solutions
• Communicate with branches regarding regular parts distribution as well as to resolve logistics
• issues that may arise
• Help improve business performance and distribution across all parts warehouses
• Promote safety and contribute to compliance efforts
• Perform other tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of warehouse experience
• Knowledge of inventory and warehouse operations
• Prior Forklift Certification Preferred, but not required
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented

Work Environment:

The Bulk Warehouse Operator operates in a field environment. The role routinely uses standard

business equipment such as computers and phones. Lifting 50+ pounds may be required.
