Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seekingto fill a Bulk Spotterrole with additional material handlerdutiesin our manufacturing facility located in Bedford Park, IL. You'll play a key role by being responsible for shuttling trailers around the plant premises and assisting with material handling tasks, including storage, picking, staging, and inventory management. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do:
Split dailytasksbetween 50% spotterduties and 50%material handler duties,depending on business needs.
Safely maneuver yard trucks to shuttle trailers to and from designated areas within the plant.
Loading andunloadingtrailers, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory management by performing cycle counts, tracking the location and status of trailers andmanufacturedmaterials.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to stage and store materials from production and shipping as needed.
Conduct routine inspections of trailers and yard equipment to ensure operational safety.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard andmaterialstorage areas.
Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management promptly.
Picking, staging, unloading/loading commoncarrier’strailers.
Participate in training sessions and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Work week and shift:1st shift Monday - Friday, 8:30am –500pm, some flexibility required
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a spotter
ValidClass ACDL driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to yard spotter trailersand other material handling equipment safely
Forklift experienceand computer experience

Previous experience in a similar role in an industrialchemicalenvironment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:
The pay range for this role is 28.47 - 35.58 - 42.70 USD Hourly. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
