We're Ready Industries, home to 1300TempFence, 1300SiteCam, 1300Hoarding and Australia's leading site service brands. We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Queanbeyan East team. This is a key role responsible for driving business growth across the ACT and Southern NSW through strategic client relationships, new business development and strong commercial outcomes.

About the Role

The Business Development Manager will manage an existing customer portfolio while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities across the ACT and Southern NSW region. Working closely with Operations and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure customer requirements are delivered efficiently while building long-term partnerships and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and growing relationships with existing customers
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the ACT and Southern NSW region
• Developing strong commercial partnerships with builders, civil contractors, government organisations and project stakeholders
• Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to project delivery
• Preparing quotations, proposals and tender submissions
• Developing strategic account plans to maximise customer growth
• Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline activity
• Working closely with Operations to ensure outstanding customer service and project outcomes
• Monitoring market trends and identifying new opportunities for growth
• Achieving sales, revenue and profitability targets

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll bring a strong background in business development, account management or sales within construction, infrastructure, hire or a related industry.

You will also have:

• Proven experience in Business Development or Sales (3–5+ years preferred)
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Experience developing new business while managing existing accounts
• Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Experience managing sales pipelines and achieving revenue targets
• CRM experience (Zoho or similar preferred)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Full Australian working rights
