Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) provides educational leadership that impacts instruction, learning, student achievement, productivity, and efficiency. GISD serves a region with nearly 66,000 students and 8,500 educators. Its primary service area consists of the 21 public school districts and 15 public school academies (charter schools) in Genesee County, Michigan. Other services extend to Lapeer, Shiawassee, and surrounding counties.
