Job Description
Your role
- Maintain and optimize building automation systems, including KNX/EIB and HVAC controls.
- Perform electrical installations and support building-related projects across the site.
- Ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of the entire building infrastructure, including lighting, emergency stop systems, and workplace installations.
- Take ownership of security-related building systems such as access control, fire alarm, intrusion alarm, and conveying systems.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities, oversee external service providers, and ensure complete and accurate maintenance documentation.
- Manage energy-related building systems, including water, heating, cooling, and electricity, while supporting the facility management team in daily operations.
What makes you a great fit
- Bring a completed education in Electrical Engineering (apprenticeship or technical college/HTL) and ideally first experience with KNX building automation as well as HVAC control systems.
- Have practical experience with building services engineering and ventilation or air handling systems.
- Create and implement electrical installations safely and professionally.
- Take a proactive, hands-on approach and enjoy solving technical challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues while working in a flexible, reliable, and structured manner.
- Use MS Office confidently and enjoy combining practical field work (approximately 70%) with planning and documentation tasks (approximately 30%), including opportunities to contribute to future construction and infrastructure projects.
- Communicate confidently in German and serve as the point of contact for external contractor firms. You also have a basic knowledge of English.
