
Building Services Assistant | 10127 | Permanent Contract x 2 | 18.5 hours per week | £25,583 to £25,989 per annum (Scale D) | The Shirehall, Norwich
This post offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team ensuring the safety and security of some of the city’s most iconic buildings. If you have a passion for culture and heritage and enjoy working as part of a busy team then this could be the job for you.
You will have experience of working with the public and contractors as well as experience of health & safety in the workplace and an aptitude for undertaking practical maintenance tasks.
There are two available positions and they are both on a two week rota, working the following days:
Position One
Week 1
Monday 08:00-18:00
Thursday 07:30-17:30
Week 2
Saturday 07:30-17:30
Sunday 07:30-17:30
Position Two
Week 1
Saturday 07:30-17:30
Sunday 07:30-17:30
Week 2
Monday 08:00-18:00
Tuesday 08:00-18:00
In addition, the postholder will be required to undertake some out of hours emergency call out duties on a rota basis. There will also be some evening work.
