What does a Building Maintenance Technician I or II do for us?
Under the general direction of the Facilities Maintenance Leader, this individual is responsible for safe, efficient operation and maintenance of buildings and systems including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and security.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Job requires the person to bend, stoop and squat, crouch, crawl, climb into and out of vehicles, forklifts, ascend / descend ladders; twist, kneel, balance and reach. Requires occasional lifting shoulder high and above items weighing up to 60 lbs.; frequently lift items waist high and knee high weighing up to 30 lbs. and occasionally items weighing up to 60 lbs. Occasionally use exertional force less than 50 lbs.; occasionally carry items weighing up to 70 lbs. with two hands and occasionally with one hand items weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequently operating foot controls during normal vehicle operation and forklift operation. Frequently grasping items such as hand and power tools, and forklift controls; frequently using fine motor skills to operate small hand tools and computer keyboard. Applicant must be able to perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat of harm to self, others or property. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Applicants must have demonstrated ability to effectively complete tasks and goals with minimal supervision or help. Participation in a regular 24/7 on-call rotation is required. This job requires incumbent to follow all applicable safety rules and regulations; to wear proper clothing and personal protective equipment for tasks or duties; and to properly report accidents and incidents. Additional safety-related training may be required.
