Building Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of building equipment and infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with general facility upkeep, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
