Our Building Maintenance Technician are responsible for supporting the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of PADNOS facilities and equipment. This role performs preventative maintenance, basic HVAC support, plumbing and drain repairs, equipment inspections, and general building repairs to help maintain efficient daily operations. The technician works closely with Facilities Maintenance staff to complete work orders, troubleshoot maintenance issues, maintain accurate maintenance records, and ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety standards and operational priorities.
Schedule
• Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed.
• 6:00am - 4:00pm
Responsibilities
• Unclog, repair, and install drains; change oil and filters on air compressors
• Conduct routine inspections at PADNOS locations to identify and address maintenance needs
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating equipment
• Repair, modify, rebuild, and maintain facility equipment and structures, including doors, windows, siding, walls, roofs, drains, and racking
• Follow all safety procedures and company maintenance standards
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance, including changing air filters on rooftop and air makeup units
• Maintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS system
• Provide timely and professional maintenance support while prioritizing requests based on urgency
• Assist Level II Facilities Maintenance Technicians with troubleshooting, repairs, and work orders
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1–2 years of basic carpentry, maintenance, or construction experience required
• Basic welding and pipe fitting experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use common hand, power, and precision measuring tools
• Experience operating construction or maintenance equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, or jackhammers preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel between worksites as needed
• Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to safely operate vehicles, machinery, and power tools
• Comfortable working in varying indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including temperature extremes and noisy environments
