We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at Textron. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal building comfort levels, addressing tenant needs, and maintaining the security and safety of the premises. In addition, you will handle various general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, office moves and grounds maintenance.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 3:00-11:00pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitors temperature controls and outside weather conditions.
• Ability to maintain and general repairs of all HVAC equipment.
• Represents owners when responding to tenants’ needs.
• Responsible for total security of building.
• Responsible for all snow and ice removal from outside building area.
• Performs all general maintenance duties and repair assignments determined by supervisor.
• Responsible for preparing and painting various surfaces, including walls and trim.
• Assists with office moves, including furniture relocation, space setup, and coordination of logistics.
• Works with third‑party vendors and contractors to support maintenance projects, repairs, and facility needs.
• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Vocational Degree or equivalent training in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heating and Plumbing.
• Proven professional painting experience.
• 3 years of building maintenance or mechanical experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

• Boiler Operator’s license preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to work any and all shifts, including 3rd Shift, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
• Reliability is a must.
