Job Description

We are seeking an ICC-Certified Building Inspector near the Corpus Christi, TX area. This is more than just inspections—it’s about ensuring the safety, quality, and future-readiness of the places where people live, work, and thrive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting inspections before, during, and after construction to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Issuing permits, violation notices, and stop-work orders when needed.
  • Clearly communicating findings with homeowners, contractors, and field personnel.
  • Mentoring and training inspection staff to build a stronger, more knowledgeable team.
  • Serving as a trusted resource for technical guidance and customer service.
  • Staying ahead of the curve by integrating new developments in building and safety standards.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • A State of Texas Plumbing Inspector's License.
  • ICC Certifications (Commercial and Residential required).
  • 3–5 years of inspection experience, preferably with municipal agencies.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
