As a Building digitalization & visualization Engineer, you will contribute to the digital transformation of our facility management and real estate portfolio. You will connect physical buildings with their digital representation by developing 3D scanning, BIM, Digital Twin and visualization solutions. Working with international stakeholders, you will help create scalable digital processes that support smarter building operations, space management and strategic real estate decisions.
Your tasks:
► Building up, operating and continuously developing 3D building scanning and data processing services for our sites
► Developing efficient and automated workflows for building data processing, management and visualization
► Designing and implementing BIM-based solutions, including Scan-to-Area, Scan-to-Asset and Scan-to-BIM workflows as well as BIM/CAFM integration
► Developing Digital Twin solutions to support facility management, production planning, logistics and space optimization
► Supporting the implementation of Common Data Environment (CDE) solutions for facility management projects and space management
► Maintaining high-quality BIM models, including Revit family and model optimization
► Developing automation solutions for building and area data management using AutoCAD and related technologies
► Creating 3D visualization and data evaluation solutions to support real estate portfolio analysis and strategic decision-making
► Integrating building, spatial and GIS data and presenting results through interactive dashboards, visualizations and digital walkthroughs
► Collaborating with local, regional and international stakeholders to continuously improve building digitalization processes and solutions
► University degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related technical field
► Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit, including model management and Revit family creation
► Solid knowledge of BIM methodologies, applications and standards
► Practical experience in building digitalization, 3D scanning or Scan-to-BIM projects
► Good understanding of digital building data, spatial information and related workflows
► Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in process automation and digital technologies
► Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with international and cross-functional teams
► Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken
► Driving licence and relevant driving experience required
What gives you further advantages:
► Experience with Power BI or other data visualization solutions
► Knowledge of Autodesk Forma, GIS integration or visualization and rendering tools
► Experience with CAFM platforms such as Archibus or Autodesk Tandem and their integration with BIM environments
► Experience in operational facility layout management and scanning workflows
► Knowledge of automation technologies such as Dynamo, Python, Revit API or ReCap Pro
► German language skills
