
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Building Asset Management Lead Operations Clerk (BAM Ops) position in LaBella’s Environmental Division at our client’s office in Binghamton, NY.
The Environmental Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for multi-year operations and capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.
Duties:
The BAM Ops Clerk is responsible for creation of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, data management in SAP and associated reporting for Avangrid Facilities properties within the client’s portfolio. Their role ensures that building and facilities' data remain efficient, and well-maintained for tenants, employees, or visitors. The BAM Ops clerk would work with, and report to, the client’s Building Asset Management Senior Manager, for New York Building Operations & Projects.
• Supports the Client’s Facility Project Managers and Senior Managers in the day-to-day operational management of all aspects of the property purchasing management to ensure maintenance of approved projects.
• Responsible for the preparation and coordination of all purchase orders assigned per area relating to interior and exterior conditions of the properties.
• Responsible for the completion of work order requests in a timely fashion and to the satisfaction of the requested associate. May coordinate with Project Managers or other maintenance staff regarding completion of requests.
• Effective communication with external vendors to resolve payment issues.
• Complete any monthly reporting updates as assigned by Supervisor.
• Vendor Contacts: maintain updates in MGD system in SAP.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: work with Supervisor to determine annual budgets for all building utilities. Respond to Facilities Control Group and General Services Capital Reporting for any requests for data.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure property records meet government regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety requirements as needed in SAP.
Requirements
• Minimum of 10-15 years in SAP Production ERP Global to include reporting, MDG Vendor Creation and Maintenance, and all aspects of Framework and Purchasing Environment.
• Must exhibit Microsoft Office Suite proficiency in Word and Excel Databases
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with a variety of different individuals both inside and outside of the company. Portray strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks with minimal supervision while also adhering to the policies and procedures and Owner objectives.
• Strong computer, writing and general mathematical skills.
