What is this role about? – Building Administrator Job Overview in Bauang, La Union

This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and administrative functions of our BYD showroom in Bauang, La Union. The Building Administrator ensures a safe, secure, and efficient environment for all building occupants by supervising facility upkeep, handling tenant and supplier concerns, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position supports the company’s operational needs by coordinating repairs, monitoring building systems, and managing documentation for the facility.

Main Responsibilities – Facility Administration and Maintenance

  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the building, including cleanliness, security, and facility systems (power, water, HVAC, etc.).

  • Coordinate and supervise service providers and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion of building repairs and preventive maintenance.

  • Handle tenant and occupant requests and concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

  • Implement health, safety, and security guidelines in compliance with government and company standards.

  • Monitor and manage building assets, supplies, and inventory, including procurement and cost control.

  • Conduct regular building inspections and prepare comprehensive reports on facility conditions and maintenance needs.

  • Document and maintain building records, permits, contracts, and compliance certifications.

  • Assist in budget planning and monitoring for building operations and maintenance expenses.

  • Participate in company projects related to facility improvements or expansion.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support building operations and company objectives.

Required Qualifications – Building Administrator Position in La Union

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least2 years of experience in building administration, property management, or a related role.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance scheduling, and contractor management.

  • Proficiency in standard office applications (e.g., MS Office) and basic records management.

  • Familiarity with safety, fire, and security regulations applicable to building facilities in the Philippines.

  • Willingness to work onsite in Bauang, La Union.
