Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of Builder Division Delivery Installer/Laborer. We are a family-owned company that has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing all the products we sell. This role is to join our Builder Division delivery team which has a focus on delivering and installing appliances in Multifamily projects and also caters to high volume clients.

In addition, must be comfortable contributing/working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun work environment. Primary duties include:

• Loading/unloading and driving a box truck
• Moving & lifting heavy products safely using a variety of equipment (dollies, straps, etc.)
• Light carpentry, plumbing, ventilation & electrical work
• Processing electronic delivery tickets and communicating with inside personnel

Job Requirements:

• Pass a DOT physical & drug test
• Valid Driver’s License ( C class preferred): this position requires employees to operate a company vehicle as an essential function of the job to travel to customer homes/job sites
• Team oriented
• Able to participate daily in physical labor
• Some Saturdays and regional travel required
• Be friendly & respectful towards customers and their property
• Mechanical aptitude
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Flexible schedule with early start times

We offer our team members:

• Hourly rate starting at $23 or more based upon experience
• C Class License earns an extra $2/hour
• Your first 12 months salary will = $55,000+
