The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Build Planning Lead to play a pivotal role in the end to end build workflow process. This position is responsible for planning and scheduling resources, coordinating activities across the project lifecycle, managing subcontractors and materials, maintaining client relationships, driving financial performance, and ensuring successful delivery against key performance indicators and service level agreements.
Based in Tauranga and reporting to the Operations Manager Central North, you will work closely with operational teams, customers, subcontractors, local authorities and other key stakeholders to deliver outstanding project outcomes.
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in utilities network development with demonstrated leadership capability.
- Strong experience managing contractors and subcontractors to achieve defined performance targets.
- Proven ability to plan and schedule large resource pools and coordinate multiple workstreams effectively.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, margins, costs and variations.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
