BUDGET ANALYST

The company is seeking mid-level and senior Budget Analysts to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accepting, processing, and controlling funds received from customers.

• Researching, reconciling, and transferring open reimbursable funds;

• Attending financial meetings, briefing statuses of funds, preparing account reconciliation, preparing special financial reports.

• Preparing budget reports; maintaining travel funds.

• Querying information from DAI, LMP & GFEBS, and maintaining and updating excel files.

• Querying databases for funds, commitments, obligations, disbursement status, and contract reconciliation; inputting PWDs into LMP.

• Inputting commitments and obligations into STANFINS, DAI, LMP & GFEBS.

• Researching and reconciling discrepancies.

• Preparing funding documentation andmanaging/updating obligation plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree (mid-level) or Master’s Degree (senior) in accounting, business, or finance. (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).

• Minimum years of experience in budget analysis for multiple large projects:

  • Mid-level4 years of experience

  • Senior:10 years of experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Standard Finance System (STANFINS), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI). Advanced proficiency in Excel. Strong analytical ability, written, and verbal communication skills.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

·Active DoD Secret (mid-level)/Top Secret/SCI clearance (senior) required
