Job Description

We are looking for a dependable, safety-driven Bucket Truck Driver/Operator to help bring event and streetscape installations to life. In this role, you will drive/operate a bucket truck to install banners, flags, and custom décor for festivals, city programs, and major events.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts for banner and flag installations
  • Install and remove street pole banners, event signage, feather flags, and decorative elements.
  • Install & Repair aluminum flagpoles- including digging and mixing concrete
  • Work closely with the install crew to execute layouts efficiently and accurately
  • Load, prep, and organize banners, hardware, and install kits before each job
  • Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections
  • Follow all safety procedures, including fall protection and traffic awareness
  • Ensure banners and hardware are installed cleanly, securely, and aligned properly
  • Travel to job sites including downtown streets, event venues, and festival grounds
  • Assist with shop prep and post-event tear-down when needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs and handle physical, hands-on work
  • Strong attention to detail (clean installs matter in our work)
  • Team player with a positive, get-it-done attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with banner, flag, or signage installation
  • Experience with digging & concrete setting
  • OSHA or aerial lift certification
  • Experience working festivals, city programs, or outdoor events
  • Basic mechanical or rigging knowledge

Work Environment

  • Outdoor, on-location work (streets, event sites, fairgrounds)
  • Mix of independent equipment operation and team-based installs
  • Some early mornings & late evenings, w/ optional weekend work—especially during event season
