
Responsibilities:
Project team responsibilities
▪ Animates and coordinates project team activities related to design and process for the composite products
▪ Communicates and consults with the product or project Core Team about the vessel development
▪ Capitalizes and shares know-how on the composite vessel development
▪ Loads and maintains all the necessary information in the PLM tool
Design responsibilities and activities
▪ Leads the design activities of the vessels according to guidelines with the support of internal experts
o Prepares CAD design drafts
o Validates the final CAD drawings
o Runs and processes, and analyses standard mechanical simulations
Process responsibilities and activities
▪ Identifies main characteristics for each step of the production process at prototype level, defines the possible process flow chart. Formalizes the relevant technical specifications for every single process step in the frame of development projects
▪ Leads and supports the production of prototype vessels (filament winding, assembly, …)
▪ Support proper use, maintenance, and cleanliness of the equipment
▪ Encourages proper use of the equipment
▪ Identifies needed materials and products (prototypes, semi-finished and finished products)
▪ Specifies the purchases required for this project (components and materials, equipment, etc.) from suppliers. ▪ In collaboration with the laboratory and project team,
o defines the validation and certification needs
o analyses testing reports
▪ Operates according to the procedure/instructions and forms described in ISO 9001 ECE R110, EC R79, ECE R134 and GB/T 42612
Safety
▪ Operates with “Safety First” mind-set
▪ Encourage that equipment and means answer the safety requirements
▪ Acts with vigilance towards safety for the people working in the workshop
▪ Reports any safety risk
Quality
▪ Operates according to the procedures, instructions, and forms related to quality specifications
▪ Interacts with Quality and Metrology teams for definition of quality checks on the product
▪ Analyses quality reports
▪ Participates in 8 D processes
Requirements:
Master degree in Engineering, Materials or Composite
Experience in Composite Design ▪ Experience in Composite Winding Process
