As part of our NAFAS project—a €30 million initiative set to revolutionize the field—we are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a Computer Science student to explore the best AI-driven tools for rapid prototyping and app development.
The Internship Project
We are looking for a talented MSc or final-year BSc student (still enrolled at university) to research, fine tune and integrate machine learning models (e.g. computer vision) into a framework for context awareness. The goal is to identify the most effective existing tools for our specific needs, ensuring that they streamline development and seamlessly integrate with out existing framework. The expected working programming language is Python.
This internship will focus on:
Researching machine learning solutions for pattern recognition tasks
Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code
Testing, evaluating debugging these software tools to ensure reliability
Working on real-world applications in AI, data processing, and software development
This internship can be structured as part of your bachelor’s or master’s thesis, or as a regular university internship. You will collaborate with senior scientists, engineers and developers, gaining hands-on experience in developing AI-powered applications.
Internship Details
Duration: Minimum 5 months, up to 9 months
Location: Delft, The Netherlands (on-site at least 4 days per week)
Compensation: €600 per month

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Currently enrolled in an MSc or final-year BSc program in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Available to work on-site in Delft at least 4 days per week
Strong interest in AI-driven development tools and rapid prototyping
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks.
Familiarity with SCRUM and git is a plus
Experience with app development and software engineering is a plus.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
