We are currently looking for an BSA / Sr. Analyst, BSA for our Houston, TX office.
• Research latest industry practices and technology trends related to enterprise applications - including Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint, Power Apps/Power Automate, Freshservice ITSM, Jira, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) - to advise business owners and members of the IT organization.
• Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of project stakeholders; including interviewing stakeholders and compiling user requirements to convey to development teams throughout all phases of the project.
• Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements.
• Lead the definition, development, and documentation of business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
• Serve in the role of Project Manager (PM) as needed, utilizing Boardwalk IT project management standards to plan, coordinate, and drive enterprise IT projects from initiation through delivery.
• Manage multi-stakeholder projects spanning multiple business areas, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and vendor relationships to ensure on-time, on-scope completion.
• Design, develop, and perform test plans and test cases to ensure that systems or applications function as specified.
• Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to ensure that project deliverables meet required specifications.
• Collaborate with business users and other team members to prioritize outstanding issues, enhancement requests, and projects on a routine basis.
• Participate in on-call support rotation, as required, for functional applications supported.
• Participate in the development, review, and delivery of application training materials; conduct training sessions as required.
• Assist in building an application support knowledgebase by documenting issues reported by users and associated resolution processes.
• Assist in conceptualization and development of solutions (hardware, software, processes) that support business requirements.
• Escalate support and project issues to IT management as they arise; perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
• Ensure all required system and compliance documentation is complete and accurate.
• Participate in the development and execution of business continuity processes as requested by senior team members.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
• 3-5 years working technical knowledge of project management methodologies with demonstrated ability to serve as project manager on enterprise IT projects.
• Extensive experience with business requirements gathering and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability in developing application specifications and requirements documentation.
• Working knowledge of ITSM and work management practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Freshservice).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and the Microsoft 365 platform.
• Working knowledge of Power Platform solutions, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted productivity tools within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Ability to manage complex projects spanning multiple business areas and stakeholder groups.
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
• Familiarity with the energy industry and/or experience in the pipeline oil and gas industry.
• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms
• Knowledge of agent building in Copilot Studio and/or Azure Foundry.
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle and agile development methodology
• Knowledge of technology trends relating to enterprise application development and support
• Ability to conduct, compile, and present research in enterprise software development, delivery concepts, and project management methodology trends.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field of study
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
• Certifications applicable to the position are desirable, such as PMP, CBAP, or relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AB-900, AB-730)
