Job Description

Join our team this summer as a BSA Compliance Intern and gain hands-on experience at a leading financial institution. This 10-week program combines real-world marketing work with professional development training sessions, executive meet-and-greets, and engaging intern group activities.

This position has an on-site requirement. Remote candidacy will not be considered.

The BSA Compliance Intern will support regulatory compliance efforts by completing required reporting, monitoring alerts, and assisting with information requests. Review documentation for accuracy and adherence to standards, and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor OFAC screening alerts and support responses to 314(a) and 314(b) information requests.
  • Review Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) documentation to ensure compliance with KYC standards.
  • Communicate findings and recommended actions clearly to relevant team members.
  • Support the upkeep and continuous improvement of departmental policies and procedures. Accomplishes the credit union's mission by completing relevant duties as needed when requested by management or other staff members.

Essential Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college program pursuing an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Law, or related field.
