Job Description

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Bryden pi Limited is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position in the Pharmaceutical Division:

The incumbent would be responsible for delivering continuous growth of the revenue and profitability of the Division. Collaborate with customers and suppliers to build and maintain a win/win relationship between the Division and each customer.

Some Main Responsibilities include:

  • Sell Bryden pi Pharmaceutical products and achieve monthly sales and gross profit quotas on assigned route.
  • Ensure that routes are properly serviced and that key supplier products are visible and / or available where required.
  • Execute agreed sales and marketing plans.
  • Ensure that all customers on his/her route are serviced weekly/biweekly with Bryden pi’s products.
  • Ensure that all products that are sold are merchandised properly and rotated weekly (FIFO basis) to maintain freshness at all times.
  • Ensure that all “damages” are returned to the Company and customers compensated for these damage in accordance with the ‘Returns Policy’
  • Ensure that all outstanding credits are collected on time and paid to the Company’s cashier on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure that all cash collected from his/her daily sales is deposited with the Company’s cashier upon return to the office each day. He/She will be held accountable for any cash shortages/overages.
  • Ensure all charges bills are signed by the customer. The customer must also receive a Company receipt signed by him/her (the Territory Manager) when he/she receives money for credit given.
  • Collect feedback/information from new and existing customers/consumers on the performance of the Company’s products and populate Competitor Report as required
  • Continuous expansion and exploration of opportunities to encourage sales growth with new and existing customers. Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company

  • Gain 75% distribution for all new product on the assigned customer base within first two weeks of new product launch.
  • Support and conduct any pharmacovigilance activities that affect customers, especially and not limited to, customer complaints and product recalls
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
  • Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
  • Maintain customer records, using automated systems.

Qualification, Experience and Requirement:

  • 5 CXC / Ordinary Level passes, including Math and English
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar or related position
  • Or relevant combination of training and experience
  • A valid Police Certificate of Good Character
  • Must have a vehicle in good working condition
