The Role

As a result of our robust growth, Shoreland Transport Inc. are seeking a Brokerage Coordinator to join our team of professionals in our office in Woodstock NB. Reporting to the Brokerage Manager you will arrange for the safe transport of both temperature sensitive products and non-temperature sensitive products for customers throughout North America in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities will include

  • Coordinate the daily logistics needs to and from various locations in a timely manner
  • Liaise with Plants, Distribution facilities, Customers and Carriers regarding the timely movement of products via various modes and equipment type.
  • Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments as necessary
  • Track and trace shipments daily; trouble-shoot problems with shipments as they arise
  • Track carrier performance including on-time service and claims ratios
  • Manage freight and accessorial costs with Carriers and Freight Forwarders
  • Generate all necessary documentation for International Shipments

  • Superior customer relationship skills,
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks,

  • Entrepreneurial spirit

Education / Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience requested, logistics operations experience an asset.
