Job Description

Salary: £35,560 - £42,672

Role duration: Permanent

Location: London, UK (Hybrid - 50% office attendance)

We’re looking for a highly organised and confident communicator to join the Academy as our Briefing Hub Officer. Sitting at the heart of our briefing activity, you’ll help senior leaders make well informed decisions by coordinating, shaping and quality assuring high profile briefings.

You’ll manage briefing requests across the organisation, agree priorities and deadlines, and turn complex input into clear, accessible materials such as background notes and Q&A packs. Working closely with senior colleagues and experts, you’ll bring clarity, strong judgement and excellent writing skills to fast moving, high stakes work.

Requirements

Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the confidence to manage competing deadlines and make sensible trade-offs.

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex information into crisp, audience-appropriate briefings.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a track record of producing accurate work under time pressure.
  • Strong stakeholder management: able to build trust quickly, challenge constructively and work effectively with senior colleagues.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to bring people together around clear processes and standards.
  • Sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information and navigating reputational risk.
