About the role :
As a Bridging Underwriter with our company, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and determining the feasibility of loan applications.
Underwriting and assessing loan documentation, including valuation reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with lending policies and regulations.
Conducting comprehensive checks on applicants and properties to assess their suitability for the applied loan, identifying any concerns or discrepancies.
Proactively communicating with brokers and other stakeholders to obtain additional information as needed and provide timely updates on application status.
Collaborating with introducers, valuers, and solicitors to facilitate the smooth progression of loan applications and address any issues or inquiries.
Providing support and guidance to colleagues on matters related to underwriting and mortgage completion, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Managing decisions on inquiries and new applications within agreed-upon time frames, prioritizing responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
Contributing to the continual improvement of the company's lending proposition by identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing innovative solutions
