Perform breakout and tool prep operations on composite parts and tools after curing process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works under the guidance of lead to perform breakout and tool prep operations per schedule.

  • Prep tools with releasing agent and uses knifes and scrappers to remove any debris left from previous part. Stage tool for layup operations.

  • Removed tools and parts from oven after curing process is complete.

  • Removes all bagging material from part and tool and removes part form tool with use of basic hand tools such as shim and hammer.

  • Delivers and stages parts in next operation area.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

6+ months of composites or related experience.

Working Conditions:

Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids. Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required.
