About the role

We are seeking the “best of the best” restaurant professionals who are passionate about food, elevated service, and beverage experiences. Our Food & Beverage team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is currently looking for a motivated and attentive server for our Coastal Italian restaurant Saint Bibiana. In this role, you will work with a team of hospitality partners who are dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

What you'll do

• Gain insight into guests’ dining preferences through verbal and nonverbal cues
• Ensure high quality and consistency of the guest experience
• Speak eloquently about the hotel, restaurant, and menu
• Collaborate and work cohesively with other team members
• Handle challenges with poise with positivity
• Make beverage and dining suggestions and describe the items to guests
• Take and serve orders and answer all guest inquiries
• Oversee table maintenance
• Maintain the ambiance and standards of the restaurant and hotel at all times while on property

Qualifications

• Hard-working team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Passionate about hospitality, food & beverage and possess a desire to learn
• ability to multitask, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent presentation and grooming standards
• Wine and ServSafe certifications are a plus
• Ability to endure abundant physical movement in various work areas
