Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Present menus, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations.
• Accurately take guest orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards.
• Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and notify management when appropriate.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and workspaces.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work assignments.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, daily specials, and beverage programs.
• Comply with all alcohol service regulations and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with managers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and culinary team members.
• Adhere to EOS Hospitality standards for service, safety, appearance, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant serving experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

• Experience in upscale casual, resort, or high-volume dining environments.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Responsible Vendor Certification.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and stooping.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely.
• Ability to work in a busy restaurant setting.
