Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Breakfast Server to join our Tru by Hilton Hotel managed by StepStone Hospitality. This position is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and serving the hotel’s complimentary breakfast while ensuring guests receive outstanding hospitality each morning. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, provides excellent customer service, and maintains high cleanliness and food safety standards.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock breakfast bar before service begins
  • Prepare and replenish hot and cold breakfast items
  • Greet guests in a warm and professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining area, buffet stations, and kitchen areas
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and freshness throughout service
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and breakfast equipment as needed
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with inventory and restocking supplies
  • Remove trash and keep storage areas organized
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally
  • Assist other hotel departments when necessary

Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality, restaurant, or food service experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Food handler certification preferred (if required by state/local regulations)
  • Reliable attendance and positive attitude required

Schedule

  • Part-time available
  • Typical shift: 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Monday-Thursday
  • Weekend availability required
