The Day to Day:

  • Execute delegated preparation and service tasks as directed by the Sous Chefs and Chef
  • Prepare and cook breakfast dishes with consistency, precision, and attention to detail
  • Ensure all plates meet O&B quality standards, presentation, and timing standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation at all times
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment during peak breakfast service
  • Uphold proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
  • Demonstrate a commitment to cooking with high-quality ingredients
  • Contribute creative ideas to features and menu improvements
  • Continuously develop culinary skills and expand product knowledge
  • Support a collaborative team environment built on professionalism and respect
  • Share an absolute dedication to delivering an exceptional guest experience
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in breakfast or brunch service
  • Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow recipes and direction while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
  • Must be available to work early morning shifts on weekdays and weekends
  • Flexible availability, including holidays as required
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

Hourly: $18.00- $19.00
