Location: Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk
Pay: £14.60/hour (£11,426 per annum)
Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 15 hours per week
Shift times: Mon–Fri, 06:30–09:30

What you'll do:

• Cooking, prepping, and plating breakfasts to a high standard
• Working with a skilled team and supporting new starters with procedures and best practice
• Following recipe cards to deliver a consistent, quality breakfast offer
• Carrying out stock checks, ordering supplies, and keeping records up to date
• Monitoring food safety standards — temperatures, cleaning schedules, daily due diligence
• Getting involved in deep cleans and occasional fine‑dining functions.

What we're looking for:

• A relevant culinary qualification (706/1, 706/2 or equivalent)
• A confident, collaborative approach in the kitchen
• Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for great food
• Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks
• You must have lived in the UK for the last 3 years and have the legal right to work here (security requirement)
