Job Title Breakfast Attendant

Department: Food & Beverage

Supervision Exercised: None

Supervision Received: Assistant F&B Manager / F&B Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Food Handling Certification required (state or local equivalent).

Experience

  • Previous food service, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time management and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring items are fully stocked and visually appealing.
  • Prepare basic food items such as coffee, juices, pastries, fruit, and hot items (as applicable).
  • Greet guests warmly and assist with any breakfast needs or questions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, service area, and equipment.
  • Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Restock utensils, plates, cups, condiments, and supplies throughout the shift.
  • Clean tables, counters, and service areas promptly and efficiently.
  • Break down and clean the breakfast setup at the end of service.
  • Report inventory shortages or equipment issues to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
