INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing the highest-quality service possible while maintaining a high degree of cleanliness and sanitation during the restaurant's hours of operation.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Assist any guests promptly, courteously, and helpfully at all times.
• Process guest orders for ice cream, coffee, and basic snacks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner, maintaining high standards of sanitation in food handling.
• Understands and adheres to quality standards and procedures regarding food handling, storage, safety, and sanitation.
• Lead café opening or closing responsibilities may include basic food preparation, equipment setup, facility and equipment sanitation, and moving items to and from storage or food-keeping locations.
• Maintain cleanliness expectations for the café, including but not limited to: washing and wiping tables, chairs, and serving surfaces; mopping or sweeping floors; maintaining a stock of ingredients and supplies; and washing and maintaining serving equipment in accordance with equipment recommendations.
• Support and complete PAR inventory and stocking levels as needed
• Answer customer questions regarding the menu and order specifications.
• Provides basic assistance for guests related to property questions or concerns.
• Processes payments and orders through the Point of Sales System; this includes order processing, accepting payments and making changes, counting the register, and opening and closing the point of sale system to specifications.
• Keep the café and surrounding areas clean and orderly; may assist with basic housekeeping functions in retail outlets, welcome centers, and common areas.
• May assist in tasks such as cleaning, merchandising, stocking, and inventory
• Ensures the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and guest-ready at all times
• Provides regular and reliable attendance
• Performs other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING
• Must be 15 years of age or older
• 100% attendance
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to communicate with staff and guests clearly
• Comfortable being near people of all ages and genders
WHAT IT TAKES (PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and you may sometimes be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We need each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete them with the same enthusiasm and dedication as your regular job duties.
