Job Duties

Responsibilities

  • Perform well tie-in workflows and integrate seismic data with well data to ensure accurate correlations, velocity modeling, and structural modeling.
  • Conduct seismic interpretation workflows, including the analysis and interpretation of seismic data to identify geological structures and delineate reservoirs.
  • Analyze and interpret seismic attributes to enhance understanding of reservoir geology and identify areas of interest.
  • Support users in the development and use of geophysical workflows within interpretation tools.
  • Prepare training materials (PowerPoint, videos) and lead training sessions on geophysical workflows and techniques.
  • Clarify technical questions related to geophysical tools and their results.
  • Perform testing and validation of new software versions (user acceptance testing), ensuring that the tools meet geophysical requirements.
  • Interact with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical geophysical support to other professionals such as geologists and engineers.
  • Lead initiatives for the development of improvements and plug-ins in geophysical interpretation software, collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geophysics or Geology, with preference for candidates with an applied Master's degree.
  • Advanced English.
  • Excellence in interpersonal communication and proactivity.
  • Knowledge of seismic interpretation workflows, well tie-in, velocity modeling, and structural modeling.
  • Familiarity with geophysical interpretation software and data integration.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, especially in geoscience projects.
