Anchored in the market differentiation pillar of the firm’s transformation agenda, we engage a variety of leaders and foster collaboration across leadership teams to drive the greatest external impact through our executives, advancing Deloitte’s brand and reputation in the marketplace.Position summaryThe Executive Communications Specialist will support the design, coordination, and continuous improvement of onboarding and engagement processes for PPMDs (Partners, Principals, and Managing Directors) in the program. Reporting to Executive Communications leadership, this role will develop impactful written materials and communications, drive process innovation, measure program effectiveness, and ultimately ensure a seamless experience for executive participants. The Lead Specialist will work closely with BM&C professionals to align initiatives with firm-wide objectives and support the external positioning of Deloitte’s senior leaders.Recruiting for this role ends on September 23, 2026Work You’ll DoThe Executive Communications team requires independent and critical thinking and problem solving in a dynamic, high-visibility environment. The Executive Communications Specialist will help support the delivery of innovative communications strategies that build and protect the firm’s brand and reputation, position the firm as a leader in the marketplace, ensure consistent messaging, and position Deloitte leaders as luminaries whose eminence advances the Deloitte brand.The Specialist will work closely with the Executive Communications team to help plan and execute programs for its remit of leaders across the firm. In this role, an individual will be expected to be agile in their ability to prioritize and navigate the responsibilities below.Program Management & DeliveryLead Onboarding Coordination: Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of onboarding frameworks for leaders participating in the Executive Communications program, ensuring processes are efficient and aligned with best practices.Support Engagement Initiatives: Own (with limited oversight) the preparation and logistics for iterative conversations with leaders, enabling Executive Communications leaders to deliver effective support and guidance.Communications SupportLeader Eminence: Support internal and external communications programs for Deloitte leaders that are aimed at amplifying our brand and reinforcing our priority messages in the market.Social Eminence: Support the execution of social leadership programs for Deloitte leaders including content development, engagement and impact assessment.Reporting & Strategic AnalysisExecutive Reporting: Collect, prepare and synthesize executive presence impact and outcomes; develop personalized insights, and recommendations for executives and their teams on the impact of external events, media and social media.Data-Driven Insights: Utilize analytics to assess program performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making.A successful candidate will possessAn understanding of how to communicate priorities, mitigate impacts, and manage multiple technical projects with competing deadlines and stakeholders, and where requirements often change.A high degree of discretion and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information and interactions with senior leaders confidentially and thoughtfully.Experience working on external programs is preferred.The successful candidate would possess these skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to othersRequirementsInternal professionals currently within BM&C onlyBachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing Communications1+ years relevant experience in marketing communications, or public relationsAbility to synthesize large sets of information, extract insights, and develop recommendationsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSound project management, organization, strategic planning, and analytical skillsMicrosoft Office Suite skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience directly supporting senior Deloitte leadersThrive in a fast-paced environment with an ability to learn quicklyHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication/writing skillsAbility to effectively manage upSound decision making skillsInclusive mindsetDemonstrated ability to support conversations with an executive audienceLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
