Assist with the execution of enterprise measurement, reporting, and optimization of the University of Cincinnati’s marketing channels, including web, search engine optimization (SEO),answer engine optimization (AEO), social, and content, within Central Marketing & Communications. Support the translation of data into strategy by assisting with reporting frameworks, analytics infrastructure, and personalization capabilities that enable more coordinated, insight-driven decision making across colleges and units.

Essential Functions

  • Support the development and execution of enterprise analytics, reporting, and optimization strategies for University owned marketing channels, including web, SEO/AEO, social media, and content, ensuring alignment with brand, enrollment, and institutional goals.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and measurement frameworks that translate marketing performance data into actionable insights for stakeholders and university leadership.
  • Analyze digital channel performance, user behavior, and audience engagement to identify opportunities for improved content effectiveness, user experience, personalization, and conversion.
  • Assist with enterprise SEO/AEO efforts, including keyword strategy, content optimization, performance monitoring, and content gap analysis across priority web properties.
  • Support digital accessibility initiatives by helping maintain compliance with web content accessibility guidelines and ADA requirements through auditing, quality assurance, and remediation processes.
  • Partner with paid, earned, shared, and owned media teams to connect channel performance with broader marketing outcomes and support integrated campaign strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement across the University digital marketing ecosystem.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Six (6) years of relevant education, experience and/or other specialized training can fulfill minimum education and experience requirements

Required Trainings/Certifications

  • Proficiency with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or equivalent).
  • Experience building executive-facing dashboards and reports (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Experience executing audience personalization or segmentation strategies

Required Experience

  • Two (2) years of experience in digital marketing analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), or owned channel optimization.

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Experience in higher education marketing or a large, matrixed organization.
  • Experience with tag management and data layer implementation (Google Tag Manager or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) and personalization platforms (Slate, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent).
  • Experience with content management systems and dynamic content tools (Adobe Experience Manager preferred).
  • Knowledge of enrollment marketing and the student recruitment lifecycle.

Salary/Hourly Pay Rate Information: $64,600 - $72,704.47 annually dependent on candidate experience.
