Job Description

Join us as a Brand Manager, based at our Vienna office, and shape the local growth strategy for a high-priority biologic brand in Austria. In this role, you will drive commercial success by translating strategy into impactful execution across channels and functions.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious marketer to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic healthcare environment while building a strong foundation for future leadership roles within AstraZeneca.

If you are looking for a place where you can grow, deliver strong results, and accelerate your career, AstraZeneca could be your next move.

Your Role

As Brand Manager, you will lead the local commercial strategy for a priority biologic brand in Asthma and CRSwNP, from strategic planning through to in-market execution and performance monitoring.

You will develop and implement integrated brand strategies and omnichannel campaigns across digital, face-to-face, and event-based customer engagement. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you will adapt global strategy to the Austrian market by leveraging customer, competitor, and market insights to create relevant local campaigns and engagement plans.

You will act as the local brand expert, maintaining a strong understanding of market dynamics and the competitive landscape in a fast-evolving therapeutic area. In close collaboration with Sales, Medical, Market Access, and external partners, you will drive launch excellence, support long-term brand growth, and identify innovative opportunities to enhance customer engagement and patient outcomes.

In addition, you will manage budget planning, KPI tracking, and performance analysis, bringing strong commercial acumen and a focus on executional excellence.

Your Profile

  • You hold a university degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.

  • You bring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Brand Management, Marketing, or Commercial/Sales roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry. Candidates with a deeper track record in specialty care, respiratory, biologics, or product launches are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • You have a strong track record in strategic marketing combined with hands-on execution of campaigns and initiatives.

  • You are comfortable working in a cross-functional, matrix environment and know how to collaborate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset and take ownership for delivering results.

  • You are curious, proactive, and motivated to grow into broader commercial responsibility over time.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a regulated environment.

  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

What We Offer

  • A starting salary from € 80.000 annual gross. Depending on qualifications and experience, an overpayment is possible.

  • A competitive compensation package including bonus, company car, pension and additional insurance benefits.

  • Strong development opportunities, including exposure to senior leadership and international future career paths

  • Flexible working hours with the option for hybrid work

  • Environmentally conscious company that has the ambition to become climate-neutral by 2030
