We continue to grow and introduce new brands to the Australian market and have significant expansion plans for our brand portfolio. We are currently seeking an experienced Brand Manager to nurture and grow a luxury fragrance portfolio

You will be ably supported by your Marketing Assistant who is well embedded into the portfolio. You will have extensive support from our Marketing, VM, PR, Operations and national teams. And you will have guidance and mentorship from a highly experienced Senior Marketing Manager.

The role

Manage your own portfolio and take ownership of all aspects of brand management including:

• Managing the budgets and P&L for the portfolio
• Delivery of financial results including market share, net sales and category growth
• Forecasting and product lifecycle management
• Developing 360 degree launch and promotional plans
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external local and global stakeholders
• Collaboration with cross functional departments to implement agreed marketing plans – from strategic planning to operational processes and executions.
• Some interstate and international travel may be required.

Who you are

You have previous solid experience in marketing and product management and will have worked in a role such as Brand Manager or Junior Brand Manager.

You will have worked in a similar position for at least 2-3 years, ideally within the consumer product industry, and have proven experience in managing global brands.

You will also:

• Have a degree in Business, Commerce or similar and ideally with a major in Marketing (or equivalent experience)
• Fragrance, Beauty, FMCG or luxury industry experience, in particular in the department stores environment is highly desirable.
• Be able to showcase your global brand experience in relation to brand guidelines and adapting global strategies to build local business
• You absolutely must have strong commercial acumen, excellent analytical and numerical skills, with proven experience working on budget and P&L management
• Naturally you are goal-driven, proactive and thrive on delivering results in a high-pressure environment
• And you must be a team player with excellent communication skills along with advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
