Job Description

La Vaquita represents the leading Hispanic Cheese brand in Texas with recent expansion in the Southwest. The Brand Manager, La Vaquita will help drive demand for Hispanic Dairy by creating consumer and customer demand across a set of brands, including La Vaquita and Mama Julia, in addition to control brands. Hispanic Dairy is a core priority for the business with a recent acquisitioning signaling the focus, and the brand manager will help support building out the GTM plan and develop, create, and execute marketing plans in support of long-term strategies. Accountable for helping to deliver the overall business goals, this position supports the cross-functional team across communications, innovation, packaging, and strategy development.

The role includes:

  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives in support of long-term strategies that create consumer and customer demand
  • Lead market analysis and play active role in GTM planning against long-term strategy to grow both retail and food service opportunities
  • Lead internal team and agencies from brief writing and timeline development through execution and reporting for media, creative, social media, shopper marketing and other projects
  • Partner cross-functionally with vice president of business unit, sales, supply chain, and finance to deliver topline and bottom-line business growth
  • Recommend ideas and support innovation pipeline creation from research through product commercialization and support
  • Manage marketing budget from recommendation through tracking
  • Provide regular analysis and recommendations to guide business priorities and marketing recommendations across various KPIs

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience (3+ in CPG brand management)
  • Ability to influence management, lead and support cross-functional teams, and handle multiple projects and brands
  • Spanish language fluency
  • Ability to prioritize and oversee multiple initiatives and business support functions
  • Strong data analysis and presentation experience
  • Agency management experience
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
