Ready to make an impact? As our Brand Manager for APAC build markets, you’ll lead marketing plans & adapt marketing campaigns for India and Indonesia and deliver them flawlessly. Drive growth, boost sales, and champion the premium Zespri Brand as you help expand the kiwifruit category across this exciting region.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager APAC South & based in either Mumbai or Delhi, this role will develop and execute local marketing strategies for APAC build markets to drive demand in line with business objectives and global brand standards, while working closely with Market Managers and sales teams to adapt to evolving trade, competitor, shopper, and supply dynamics.
Key Accountabilities include:
Develop local marketing strategies and plans for the APAC assigned build markets (India & Indonesia) that will grow demand in line with business objectives.
Develop shopper marketing strategies, plans, and A&P management to drive sales through initiatives such as sampling and POSM placement.
Plan and manage all shopper marketing activities efficiently within agreed budgets, adapting to supply fluctuations.
Partner with the sales team to ensure flawless execution of shopper marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with creative agencies, local partners, and third-party suppliers to deliver marketing plans.
Track, analyse, and optimize marketing investments while maintaining budget compliance.
Monitor campaign performance, recommend improvements, and implement changes to support premium positioning and business objectives.
Contribute to ad hoc marketing projects and provide temporary support to other marketing areas during peak periods, as required.
We are looking for a strong team player who has proven experience in brand marketing, shopper marketing or product management within FMCG, consumer goods, trade marketing, or retail sectors. You will also possess:
Minimally 5 years of hands-on experience delivering integrated campaigns and shopper marketing programs on time and within budget.
The ability to translate global or regional brand direction into market-specific strategies and annual plans, particularly for APAC markets like India and Indonesia.
Skilled in leveraging consumer, shopper, and trade insights to shape marketing plans and respond to dynamic market conditions.
Strong track record of working effectively with cross-functional stakeholders/teams.
Competence in planning, tracking, and optimizing marketing spend.
Proficiency in English and Hindi and ability to navigate cultural nuances in APAC markets.
