Maa-Althahab is a Subsidiary brand from MAISON DE MAA Group, a leading and most famous fragrance brand in the Middle East and Africa. Founded in 2006, the company pursued innovative thinking in making unique global perfumes which match the lifestyles and personalities of all clients.

Primary Function:

  • Responsible for ensuring that the company’s products, services, and product lines resonate with current or potential customers.
  • In addition, they monitor marketing trends as well as keep an eye on competitive companies in the marketplace so they can stay ahead of competition.

Brand Management

  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights

  • Shape and communicate our vision and mission

  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies

  • Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”

  • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates

  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs

  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities

  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions

  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics along with the marketing director

  • Strong Program Organization Skills
    He demonstrates a high capacity for organizing communication programs effectively—ensuring structure, timeline alignment, and strategic coherence across all activities.
  • Regional Experience & Market Insight
    He is capable of developing and implementing programmatic communication plans tailored for Egypt and the MENA region, with deep understanding of market behavior and media consumption patterns.

  • Strong Competitor Awareness & Strategic Thinking
    He has in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape and can build strategies that effectively position the brand ahead of both local and international players.
  • Industry Alignment with FMCG Focus
    His interest and expertise in FMCG—both food and non-food sectors—make him an ideal fit for brands seeking growth through precision marketing and performance-based strategies.

Core Competency Framework:

  • Bachelor’s and or MBA degree in marketing or in business with a concentration in marketing.

  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.

  • 5+ Years of experience and expert knowledge about marketing and related subjects (advertising, market research, consumer behavior, marketing analytics) culled from years of hands-on experience preferably in the fragrance and or fashion industry and in the marketing field.

  • Excellent communication skills, report formulating, presentation and Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic required.
  • Easily adapt to change and be proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions.

  • Familiar with G-suite applications

Maa Althahab Fragrances member of Al Masmoum Group Companies is one of the largest fragrance companies in Syria despite its short journey in fragrances business, through building up the company on solid foundations using latest management concepts (Established in the beginning of the year 2006) by Mr. Abdul Hadi Al Masmoum.

Al Masmoum group was founded in 1987 in Homs – Syria, and after great success of the group in its products “perfumes and deodorants, hair care products, cosmetics and makeup, accessories” and becoming one of the leading companies in the region with four factories, the youngest brother of Al Masmoum family decided to start new line of business lunching Maa Althahab Fragrances.

Maa Althahab headquarters was first established in Syria, now we are in heart of Cairo. The company offers its products in the Egyptian market at its almost 30 branches that have been picked up in remarkable places. We are a global brand with a chain almost 100 stores all around the world. We are expanding and we are not finished developing.

Maa Althahab efforts consist in four main domains, Oil Fragrances, ready products, Oriental bottles, Franchising.
