About the Function

Our Scotland Brand Homes are world-class visitor experiences that bring our whisky brands to life through immersive tours, tastings, hospitality and retail. They play a vital role in connecting visitors from around the world with the heritage, craftsmanship and character of Scotland’s iconic whisky brands.

About the Team

Based on the stunning Isle of Skye, Talisker Visitor Centre welcomes guests from across the globe to discover the spirit of Talisker. Our team is passionate about delivering unforgettable experiences, sharing our love of whisky and creating lifelong advocates for our brand.

About the Role

As a Brand Home Guide, you will be at the heart of the visitor experience, delivering engaging tours, exceptional customer service and memorable whisky experiences. You will help bring the Talisker story to life while supporting retail, events and day-to-day visitor centre operations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging distillery tours and tastings for visitors from around the world
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the visitor journey
  • Support ticket sales and welcome guests to the visitor centre
  • Promote and sell products within the retail space
  • Assist with merchandising and maintaining retail standards
  • Support the planning and delivery of special events throughout the year

This is a fantastic opportunity to build your hospitality, tourism and whisky knowledge while working at one of Scotland’s most iconic distilleries in a truly unique location.

Experience / Skills Required

This could be the right opportunity for you if you have:

  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Experience in hospitality, tourism, retail or a customer-facing environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork
  • A resilient, driven and open-minded attitude

Please note: This role will require regular evening and weekend working.
