Job Description

Purpose:

  • Interpret global/Cluster BE Guidelines and seasonal concepts for local execution and adapt accordingly.
  • Lead the planning, development and execution of local market on Brand Environment directives and strategy.
  • Ensure brand environment initiatives and directives are consistent with key strategic choices in AFP & SBP and provide comfort and at the same time provide a positive shopping experience for consumers.
  • Coordinate the development of VM Development Plans (Capacity Planning and Planogram) for new and renewal stores: Retail, Shop in Shop, Outlet and Traditional Wholesaler.
  • Coordinate and manage digital content and activation of products in-store.
  • Covers both brands Levi’s & other brands within the LS&Co where applicable.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with local market Brand Environment Specialist, SP&C Manager/Specialist, Cluster BX teams and Sub Cluster/Market Marketing Leads, Merchandising and Planning teams on all BE Initiatives.
  • Adapt global/Cluster direction on seasonal guides, plan, provide direction and execute in retail environments to guarantee brand strategy understanding & overseeing wholesale environment as well. Capable to translate BE principles into all retail environment: Retail, SIS, Outlet and Traditional Wholesaler.
  • Provides clear direction on campaign BE plan for O&O, franchisee/partners optimal execution. Take through plan with key counterparts at O&O and franchisee/partner level.
  • Insights to action. Leverage shopper research a finding to fine-tune in market execution.
  • Provide training to District Managers, Store Managers and Store Visual Merchandisers to guarantee a clear direction and execution consistency as per Brand Standards.
  • Follow up on VM executions on floor monthly and provide feedback to DM’s, Store Managers and Store Visual Merchandisers.
  • Review floor plans together with SP&C teams for refits, new openings in all channels and work on approvals with SP&C teams on a timely manner.
  • Define the flow & layout and fixture configuration within the Global/Cluster approval. Review needs from retail operations, merchandising capacity & assortment planogram planning to guarantee the best strategy by channel.
  • Manage and coordinate in-store digital content.
  • Drive collaboration with Retail, Wholesale, SP&C, Marketing, Planning and Merchandising team to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Understand changes to BVPs, DDGs, product architecture and focus that would impact VM of the brand.
  • Provide direction in terms of vendors, pricing, quality, and strategy to VM’s on window and in-store components for both Retail, Outlet and Wholesale according to tiering and segmentation.
  • Timely reports of BE activity and competitive activities to BX Cluster team, local Commercial and Marketing teams.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education specializing in Visual Arts, Design or equivalent.
  • 5 years similar work experience in Visual Merchandising, Advertising and other creative work with strong VM Skill sets.
  • Experience with fashion or retail industry preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of the retail environment; and retail presence/store planning concepts.
  • Previous experience working on brands/brand management is ideal.
  • Adapt in the use of graphic/design software.
