The Brand Director is a critical end-to-end brand leadership role responsible for leading one of our core brands. This leader will set the strategy and deliver business results for the brand or portfolio. The role requires strong ownership of brand plans, disruptive innovation, superior execution, digital and affiliate marketing acceleration, and organization leadership across a broad cross-functional team.

This role will deliver impact through five primary areas of responsibility:

Business Results

  • Own delivery of brand business goals, including NOS, volume, share, and profit targets, while navigating category seasonality and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate business performance, consumer trends, and marketplace signals into decisive interventions that accelerate user growth, usage, and value creation.
  • Lead financial stewardship of the brand portfolio, including structural margin improvement, packaging productivity, premiumization, and mix-building opportunities.

Develop and Sell-In Winning Brand Plans and Innovation

  • Develop brand plans that strengthen the brand core and expand “bigger more” experiential forms.
  • Lead complex product and commercial innovation from concept through sell-in and start of shipment, with an emphasis on speed, cross-functional alignment, and quality execution.
  • Partner with artwork, supply, sales, R&D, finance, consumer market knowledge, and media teams to execute portfolio restages, claims, packaging, and commercial plans with excellence.

Accelerate Digital, eCommerce, and Affiliate Marketing Growth

  • Define and scale a winning affiliate marketing model for the brand, including messaging, affiliate mix, commission approach, content calendar, and budget sufficiency.
  • Partner across brand, DCOM, media, marketing services, and retail teams to accelerate growth.
  • Build digital capability across the team by translating test-and-learn pilots into repeatable best practices that drive traffic, conversion, and sales growth.

Lead the Brand Innovation Playbook and Long-Term Growth Strategy

  • Clarify and operationalize the brand portfolio strategy across the “stronger core” and “bigger more” growth pillars.
  • Lead whitespace exploration and initiative development for priority platforms.
  • Build a multi-year initiative master plan that balances near-term delivery with sustained category growth potential.

Develop a Winning Organization and Cross-Functional Team

  • Lead and inspire a broad cross-functional team with a consumer-first mindset, clear roles, high standards, and high support.
  • Create an inclusive team environment where individuals act as owners, bring expertise forward, and gain exposure with senior leaders through strong business stewardship.
  • Build brand mastery and organizational capability by connecting the team to brand heritage, consumer jobs-to-be-done, and repeatable brand-building principles.

Job Qualifications

  • End-to-End Brand Leadership: Demonstrated ability to own business results across strategy, innovation, commercial execution, and financial delivery.
  • Brand Building Mastery: Ability to translate consumer insight, brand equity, product superiority, and jobs-to-be-done into compelling brand plans and growth-driving activation.
  • Innovation Leadership: Experience leading complex innovation through concept development, cross-functional alignment, sell-in, execution, and launch readiness with speed and discipline.
  • Strategic and Financial Acumen: Strong ability to diagnose business performance, develop initiative master plans, identify structural value creation opportunities, and make tradeoffs that improve long-term growth potential.
  • Digital, eCommerce, and Affiliate Marketing Acumen: Understanding of retail media, influencer and affiliate models, TikTok Shop, Amazon activation, content calendars, and performance-oriented digital growth plans.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to lead through influence across sales, supply, R&D, finance, design, artwork, media, DCOM, marketing services, and senior leadership forums.
  • Learning Agility and Entrepreneurial Ownership: Comfort operating with ambiguity, building new playbooks, learning from pilots, and translating experimentation into scalable business models.
  • Organization Development and Inclusive Leadership: Ability to build trust, set clear expectations, coach talent, value differences, and create an environment where team members contribute at their best.
