Job Description

Are you passionate about brands that do more than look good?

Do you love helping people understand a brand, believe in it and bring it to life with confidence?

Are you a creative, organised and collaborative marketeer who can turn strategy into impactful assets, practical guidance, inspiring events and clear marketing communications?

If yes, we’d love to hear from you!

WSET is the global leader in drinks education. Our purpose is to empower people and support the drinks industry from producer to consumer

We are here for curious minds and ambitious organisations across the world, helping people seek more through learning and connection.

We have recently launched our refreshed global brand, marking an exciting new chapter for WSET. Now we are looking for a Brand and Marketing Manager to help us build that momentum and ensure our brand lives consistently, confidently and creatively across everything we do.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role at the heart of our global marketing team. The role is split approximately 60% brand and 40% events, reflecting the close connection between brand and how it shows up in real-world experiences.

The role reports to the Head of Brand & Digital Marketing, with dotted-line reporting to the Head of Events and Partnerships, and is a hybrid role with at least two days per week in our London Bridge office.

What you will do

Bring our new brand to life

  • Support and deliver the ongoing rollout of the new brand across internal and external touchpoints, making sure every piece of work feels clear, consistent and unmistakably WSET

  • Act as a key brand guardian, helping colleagues, course providers (APPs) and partners apply our refreshed visual identity, tone of voice and brand guidelines with confidence.

  • Help teams understand how to apply the brand in practical day-to-day work

Manage brand assets and materials
  • Lead the development and management of global brand assets and marketing materials across print, digital and events channels

  • Brief and manage designers, agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality creative work that is on brand, on time and fit for purpose

  • Support the creation, rollout and maintenance of templates for presentations, event materials, brand campaigns, qualification materials and internal use

  • Manage translation and localisation of marketing assets where needed, making sure materials remain clear, accessible and consistent for global audiences

Brand experience and events

  • Work closely with the Events and Partnerships team to bring the WSET brand to life through events, experiences and key audience moments

  • Lead the strategy and delivery of selected industry events, ensuring a high-quality, on-brand experience from concept through to execution and measurement of event effectiveness.

  • Shape and support creative, materials and overall brand presence across global and regional events such as the WSET Global APP Summit (online) and Craft Brewers Conference (US)

  • Support wider third-party event participation, including guidance on agreements and brand deliverables

  • Share best practice guidance with internal teams to support event delivery, ensuring WSET is represented consistently and with impact

Use insight to improve what we do

  • Manage our candidate survey activity and help turn insight into meaningful improvements

  • Monitor trends and feedback to keep our approach relevant and effective

  • Use audience insight, data and feedback to improve the quality and impact of marketing materials

What you bring

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing, including brand and events management

  • A strong understanding of brand identity and how to apply it in practice

  • Experience managing creative projects and working with designers or agencies

  • Proficiency in using design software (ideally Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud), email marketing platforms (ideally Dot Digital), Google Analytics, CRM and survey/insight platforms

  • An excellent eye for detail and confidence reviewing creative work

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders

How you work

  • Curious, proactive and keen to learn

  • Comfortable balancing creativity with practical delivery

  • Supportive and collaborative in how you work with others

  • Detail-focused but able to see the bigger picture

  • Passionate about creating work that is clear, engaging and on brand
