Position Title: Branch Operations Officer

  • Handles daily operations of the branch inn accordance with established policies, internal control and compliance to risk and regulatory requirements
  • Executes timely service to all customers and leads the capability building of the Customer Service Representatives (CSRs)
  • Helps the Branch Head achieve the business and profitability objectives of the branch
  • Identifies and contacts potential customers in order to generate new business
  • Demonstrates thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a specific task through concern for all areas involved
  • Understands and uses modern technology effectively

Role Exposure:

  • Willingness to be assigned to different branches or cover responsibilities of Reserved BOO as needed
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism
  • Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Physically and mentally fit to meet operational and client service demands

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or any related field
  • Master’s degree or relevant post- graduate studies is as advantage
  • Certifications in AML/KYC, Risk and Compliance, Leadership, Supervisory or People Management are preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in branch banking operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisor or officer capacity
  • Must have handled functions such as approvals, teller and new accounts supervision, transaction monitoring, and compliance with audit and regulatory standards
  • Experience in customer complaint resolution, cross-selling of banking products, queue management, and ATM/CAM/CRM oversight is highly desirable.
