Since 2009, JSC "Deutsche Bank DBU" (Deutsche Bank Ukraine) operates as corporate bank in Ukraine, subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG, and offers a full range of corporate banking products and services to its clients, i.e. subsidiaries of multinational companies and top tier local corporates.

We are looking for a Branch Operations and Currency Supervision Analyst within Trade Settlements and Confirmations Operations (TSCO) department.

The Branch Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of relevant information, including performing all relevant controls within own area of responsibility. They undertake critical, complex, or regulated tasks and must ensure the timely escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the line manager and functional leads as appropriate. The Branch Operations Analyst may also be responsible for building and managing relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties at an appropriate level, around the more time critical, complex, or regulated tasks.

Your key responsibilities

  • Execute functions and tasks related to TSCO by ensuring quality, timely, proper and correct transactions processing, documents handling in accordance with internal guidance and local legislation.
  • Perform transactions/trades related to Treasury and Global Emergency Markets activities (FX, Securities, clients’ loan, deposits etc.).
  • Prepare regulatory statistic reporting related to TSCO activities.
  • Perform duties related to currency supervision: check supporting documents related to currency control regime (for export or import transactions) whether they are applicable from currency supervision legislation.
  • Contact with the clients on currency supervision questions.
  • Contact with banks and other representatives on questions related to TSCO activities.
  • Performs other duties and tasks delegated by TSCO Head.

Your skills and experience

  • Knowledge/Experience in the banking business/Treasury back-office department.
  • Minimum of 1 year banking experience in Ukrainian bank on positions related to FX, currency supervision, Treasury back-office departments. Currency supervision position will be considered an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics/banking business.
  • Strong team-player with a proactive attitude, motivated and business oriented.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills, client-centric, diligent and able to find solutions to solve issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in virtual global teams and a matrix organization.
  • Native-level proficiency in Ukrainian and professional-level proficiency in English.
